Additionally, the media should play an important role in exposing and holding corrupt officials to account.
The fight against corruption is a complex and ongoing battle that requires the participation of everyone in society. However, if we are to succeed in curing our democracy of this disease, we must first acknowledge the scale of the problem and commit ourselves to addressing it. The stakes are too high to do otherwise. We must work towards creating a world where integrity, honesty, and transparency are integral to the democratic process. It is only then that we can truly build a society that works for the many, rather than just a select few.
